Casebolt Charges to Top Ten in $10k Buckeye Spring 50!

Steve Casebolt and his #c9 team invaded Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio on Thursday evening, April 20 for the annual running of the 'Buckeye Spring 50.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series rolled into the former K-C Raceway and a $10,000 winner's check was on the line. Steve timed in seventh quickest in Group A during the qualifying session prior to finishing sixth in his stacked heat race. After grabbing the second transfer spot through his B-Main, Steve started the 50-lap headliner from the inside of the tenth row. The Richmond, Indiana standout then drove towards the front in the 'Buckeye Spring 50' and eventually worked his way past eleven competitors on his way to a solid eighth place showing. Steve Casebolt Runner-Up at Moler to Start Easter Weekend

The c9 Enterprises team traveled to Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio and Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky over the April 14-15 weekend. On Friday night at Moler in a $1,500 to win unsanctioned show, Steve Casebolt won his heat race in preliminary action, hit a hole on the opening circuit of the 30-lapper, and made his way back up to second to finish behind only victor Devin Moran. At Florence on Saturday evening, the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals Series rolled into town to preside over a $5,000 to win shootout. Steve placed third in his loaded heat race, but a vibration early in the 50-lap headliner caused him to retire in the twenty-first position. Casebolt Battles Outlaws in Two-Day Illini 100 Weekend

Steve Casebolt and his #c9 team rolled into Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois on April 1-2 for the annual running of the 'Illini 100,' which was once again sanctioned by the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series. The doubleheader actually started on Saturday evening due to inclement weather and a $15,000 winner's check was on the line in the weekend opener. Steve unfortunately narrowly missed out on transferring into the 75-lap headliner after finishing eighth in his stacked heat race and fourth in his B-Main.

Things then wrapped up at the 1/4-mile bullring in the Land of Lincoln on Sunday afternoon with a $6,000 to win shootout, which was initially scheduled for Friday night before heavy rain hit the area. Steve clicked off the fourth fastest lap in Group B during the qualifying session and later placed third in his loaded heat race. After starting the 25-lap sprint from the outside of the sixth row, the Richmond, Indiana standout wound up eleventh in the final rundown. Steve Casebolt Sixth at Atomic; Third in Annual Spring 50

The c9 Enterprises team struck out to Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio and Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on March 24-25 for a pair of Super Late Model events. On Friday night in a $2,000 to win weekly show in the Buckeye State, Steve Casebolt clicked off the third fastest lap during qualifying, ran third in his heat race, and later vaulted up to sixth in the 25-lap feature event. At Florence on Saturday evening, a $5,000 top prize was up for grabs in the annual running of the 'Spring 50.' Steve placed third in his loaded heat race and blasted to as high as second in the running order during the 50-lapper before eventually crossing underneath the checkers in the third finishing position behind only winner Jason Jameson and runner-up Bobby Pierce. Casebolt Concludes Shortened "Speedweeks" at Ocala...
(February 19, 2017)
Following an overnight drive from Sylvania, Georgia to Ocala, Florida, the C9 Enterprises team returned to racing action tonight at Bubba Raceway Park, as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series presided over the $10,000 to win 'Bubba Army Winter Nationals.' Steve Casebolt knocked down the fifteenth fastest lap in Group A during qualifying prior to running eighth in his stacked heat race. Steve was then unfortunately unable to make the call for his B-Main and therefore missed out on the 50-lap main event, which was eventually won by Brandon Sheppard. After the race, the decision was made by the #c9 team to return back to their Richmond, Indiana shop and to forego the remainder of "Speedweeks" in Florida.

Winter Freeze Nightly Results from Screven Motor Speedway
(February 18, 2017)
Night two of the annual 'Winter Freeze' at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia took center stage tonight and a $10,000 winner's check was on the line in the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series showdown. Steve Casebolt timed in sixteenth quickest in Group A during qualifying before placing eighth in his heat race and fourth in his B-Main. After utilizing a series provisional to gain access into the 50-lap headliner, Steve steered past eleven competitors during the race to leave the Peach State with a twelfth place performance.

(February 17, 2017) The #c9 team helped kick off the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series season tonight in the $8,000 to win 'Winter Freeze' opener at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia. Steve Casebolt wheeled his new Victory Race Car by Billy Moyer to the second quickest time in Group A during the qualifying session prior to slipping back to fifth in his stacked heat race. Following a triumph in his B-Main, Steve slowed on the 14th circuit in the 40-lapper and was eventually paid for twenty-fifth at the pay window tonight in the Peach State.
