Steve Casebolt Racing Announces Partnership with Tye Twarog!!!

Steve Casebolt announced today at the Performance Racing Industry show in Indianapolis, Indiana that he has formed a partnership with Tye Twarog for the upcoming 2015 racing season! Tye's family has been in the racing industry for over 50 years and has fielded cars for Shane McLoughlin and Doug Dodd recently. Steve and Tye will combine their resources in 2015 and the Richmond, Indiana driver will pilot a #c9 Club 29 racecar powered by a Cornett engine. Sponsorship will come from Preferred Sandblasting and owner Bob Harris, Sudz Car Wash, Lias Tire by Tye Twarog, Riesbeck's Food Markets, and VP Race Fuels.

Steve tentatively plans to open up his 2015 campaign in a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series doubleheader on March 20-21 at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio and Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana, but could race sooner than that if his equipment is ready in time. Once the season starts, the newly-formed team will enter all of the high-profile national and regional shows across the Mid-Ohio valley - mainly within a five hour radius from Columbus, Ohio. Once all series and track schedules are released this off-season, Steve will add more schedule dates on the SCHEDULE page of the website!


Casebolt on Podium in Season Finale at Duck River Raceway Park!

Steve Casebolt Racing put the finishing touches on their 2014 racing season over a chilly November 14-15 weekend at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee. The 3rd Annual 'Deep Fried 75' was a Southern Nationals Bonus Race and boasted an $11,000 winner's check. On Friday night, Steve Casebolt clicked off the third fastest lap in Group B during the qualifying session and later placed second in his heat race on Saturday afternoon. After starting the 75-lap headliner from the outside of the third row, Steve blitzed up to third and raced hard for the second spot before settling for a podium effort behind only victor Riley Hickman and runner-up Dale McDowell. Steve Casebolt Retires Early in Fall 50 at Florence Speedway...

Steve Casebolt and his #c9 team ventured to the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on Saturday evening, October 25 for the annual running of the 'Fall 50.' The single day showdown in the Bluegrass State paid $5,000 to the winner and attracted a solid 38 car field. Steve moved up two spots in his heat race to finish in the second position and later started the 50-lap headliner from the outside of the fourth row. However, he experienced front suspension problems early in the race from the rough track conditions and eventually retired in the twenty-first spot. Casebolt Advances into $50k Dirt Track World Championship!

Steve Casebolt Racing roared into Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio from October 17-19 for the 34th edition of the 'Dirt Track World Championship.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series finale once again boasted a hefty $50,000 top prize and drew a stellar field of 89 competitors to the south-central Ohio facility. On Friday night, Steve Casebolt knocked down the ninth quickest lap in Group B during the time trial session prior to scoring the second transfer spot through his heat race behind only prelim victor Eddie Carrier, Jr.

Following a rain-out on Saturday evening, the conclusion of the DTWC program took place at PRP on Sunday afternoon. Steve started the 100-lap headliner from the outside of the sixth row and raced inside of the top ten early in the distance. The Richmond, Indiana ace unfortunately wound up retiring from the 'Dirt Track World Championship' in the twenty-first position. Steve Casebolt Runs into Problems in Tarheel 50 at Brasstown...

Steve Casebolt and his #c9 team traveled south to Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, North Carolina on Friday night, October 3 for the annual running of the 'Tarheel 50.' The $4,053 to win event was a Southern Nationals Series Bonus Race. Steve qualified fourth quickest during the time trial session and later finished third in the dash. After starting the 53-lap main event from the inside of the second row, Steve was unfortunately involved in a couple of different incidents and wound up retiring in the sixteenth position. To make matters worse, the team discovered motor problems following the 'Tarheel 50,' which will cause the Steve Casebolt Racing team to forego the two Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series showdowns at Dixie Speedway and Rome Speedway later this weekend. Casebolt Wins Heat Race and Finishes Eleventh in Jackson 100

Steve Casebolt Racing returned to action on September 19-20 in the 35th Annual 'Jackson 100' at the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana. Things kicked off at the 1/4-mile oval on Friday night with Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series qualifying and Steve Casebolt posted the second quickest lap in Group A during the time trial session. After winning his loaded heat race on Saturday evening, Steve started the $20,000 to win mega-event from the inside of the second row. The Richmond, Indiana ace ran amongst the top five early in the 100-lapper before pitting several times and salvaging an eleventh place showing. Steve Casebolt Racing Competes in 44th Annual World 100

Steve Casebolt and his #c9 team invaded the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from September 4-6 for the 44th edition of the 'World 100.' A total of 118 competitors signed in for the three-day crown jewel spectacular, which culminated with the $47,000 to win 'World 100' on Saturday evening. Unfortunately, Steve was unable to transfer into each of his three main events at the "Big E" over the weekend. The Richmond, Indiana native wound up sixth in his heat race and sixteenth in his B-Main on Thursday, eighth in his heat race and a DNS in his B-Main on Friday, and tenth in his heat race and twenty-fourth in his B-Main on Saturday. Casebolt Follows Lucas Oil Series to Attica and Portsmouth...

Steve Casebolt Racing went across the state line into the Buckeye State of Ohio on August 29-30 for a pair of $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series battles. On Friday night at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, Steve Casebolt timed in tenth fastest in Group A during the qualifying session prior to experiencing motor issues during his heat race. Steve fortunately received a Fast Time provisional to earn start money and quickly retired from the 50-lapper in the twenty-fifth position.

Another $10,000 top prize was on the line in the annual running of the 'Pepsi 50 River Days Rumble' on Saturday evening at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio. Steve knocked down the eighth fastest lap in Group B during time trials, but later fell back to seventh in his heat race after experiencing a flat tire. The Richmond, Indiana standout then placed fourth in his B-Main, which was one mere spot away from a coveted transfer position into the 50-lap headliner. Steve Casebolt Advances to Fourth in $10k Whiskey City 50!

Richmond, Indiana native Steve Casebolt unloaded his Club 29 racecar at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana on Saturday evening, August 23. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series rolled into Lawrenceburg to preside over the annual running of the 'Whiskey City 50,' which paid $10,000 to the winner. Steve posted the eleventh fastest lap overall during qualifying and later finished third in his heat race behind only prelim winner Steve Francis and runner-up Don O'Neal. After starting the 50-lap headliner from the outside of the fourth row, Steve was able to advance past four competitors en route to a strong fourth place performance. Casebolt on Podium in Weekend Specials at Moler and Portsmouth!

Steve Casebolt Racing ventured to the Buckeye State of Ohio on August 15-16 for a pair of unsanctioned special events. On Friday night at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio, Steve Casebolt timed in seventh fastest during qualifying and later placed third in his heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the eighth row in the $3,000 to win 'Ike Moler Memorial,' Steve picked off thirteen competitors during the 50-lapper to record a stellar third place effort behind only winner Devin Moran and runner-up Scott James.

The action quickly shifted to Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on Saturday evening for the 20th Annual 'Fred Dillow Memorial.' A strong field of forty competitors piled into PRP and everyone was gunning for the $5,000 payday. Steve qualified well and later won the dash to earn the pole position for the headliner. After leading the first ten circuits, the Richmond, Indiana ace eventually wound up third in the final rundown of the 'Fred Dillow Memorial' behind only victor R.J. Conley and runner-up Jackie Boggs. Steve Casebolt Racing Competes in $50k North/South 100

Steve Casebolt and his #c9 team rolled into the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on August 8-9 for the 32nd edition of the 'North/South 100.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series biggie once again boasted a $50,000 payday, but featured a new passing points format with double heat races instead of the normal qualifying procedure. Steve ran fourth in his first heat race on Friday night, while he finished third in his second prelim of the evening. After grabbing the third and final transfer spot through his consolation race on Saturday, Steve started the 100-lap headliner from the inside of the eleventh row. Unfortunately, the Richmond, Indiana standout retired early from the 'North/South 100' and wound up posting a twenty-first place effort. Casebolt Second to Tyler Carpenter in Jim Dunn Memorial!

Following a rain-out on Saturday evening at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio, the Steve Casebolt Racing team made their way to Midway Speedway in Crooksville, Ohio on Sunday, August 3 for the annual running of the 'Jim Dunn Memorial.' The unsanctioned program paid $5,000 to the winner. Steve Casebolt moved up two spots in his heat race to finish second and later started the 50-lap headliner from the inside of the third row. The Richmond, Indiana ace then blasted all the way up to second in the 'Jim Dunn Memorial' and brought his Club 29 car home in the runner-up spot behind only victor Tyler Carpenter. Steve Casebolt Makes Last Minute Trip to Atomic; Nabs Runner-Up

Steve Casebolt and his #c9 team made a last minute decision to head to Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio on Saturday evening, July 26 for the $5,000 to win 'Atomic Blast,' which was sanctioned by AMRA. Steve laid down a fast lap during the qualifying session and later finished second in the dash to earn the outside of the front row for the start of the 40-lap main event. The Richmond, Indiana ace stayed near the front of the field throughout the distance and eventually garnered a strong runner-up performance behind only victor R.J. Conley. Casebolt Sweeps Mid-Week Specials at Eldora Speedway to Bag $4,000!

Steve Casebolt Racing brought their one-race old Club 29 machine to the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on July 22-23 and walked away with a pair of $2,000 triumphs! In the 'Tuesday Night Tailgate' show, Steve Casebolt timed in second quickest in American Late Model Series (ALMS) qualifying and later finished second in his heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the third row in the 25-lap headliner, Steve blasted by leader Jeep Van Wormer on lap 19 and never looked back. The Richmond, Indiana ace then took the checkers in the caution-free affair over Van Wormer, Matt Miller, Bobby Pierce, and Duane Chamberlain!

On Wednesday night, an unsanctioned program was held at the "Big E" and the Super Late Models were on the undercard for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series '1-800 CarCash MudSummer Classic.' Steve posted the fifth quickest lap during the time trial session prior to running third in heat race action. He later started the 25-lap feature from the outside of the third row and once again charged to the front of the field. Steve hustled past leader Bobby Pierce on lap 19 and led the remainder of the caution-free 25-lapper to score the $2,000 payday over Pierce, Matt Miller, Jeep Van Wormer, and Brian Ruhlman! Richmond, Indiana standout Steve Casebolt debuted his new Club 29 racecar on Tuesday night, July 8 at the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky. The UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour rolled through the Cincinnati-area and a $5,000 top prize was on the line. Steve clicked off the fastest lap in his group during qualifying and later finished second in heat race action. After rolling off from the outside of the third row in the 40-lap main event, Steve was in the seventh position late in the race when mechanical woes ultimately dropped him to ninth in the final rundown.
