Following a long overnight drive, the Tye Twarog Racing team dropped into Oakshade Raceway in Wauseon, Ohio today for the final race of the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour, which boasted a $10,000 payday. Steve Casebolt clicked off the fourth fastest lap in Group A during qualifying prior to grabbing the third transfer spot through his heat race. After starting the 60-lapper from the inside of the sixth row, Steve was an early retiree in the feature, which was contested on a one-groove racing surface. The Richmond, Indiana ace settled for a twenty-first place showing in the track's annual 'Birthday Race.'

(July 15, 2016) The Wild West Tour finale was scheduled for tonight at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota and a $10,000 top prize was up for grabs. Unfortunately, wet weather struck at the racetrack following World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series qualifying and the remainder of the program was nixed. Steve Casebolt had posted the twelfth fastest lap during time trials before the rain hit at the speedway.

(July 14, 2016) With morning rain and forecasts for additional wet weather, tonight's $10,000 to win World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series tilt at Hibbing Raceway in Hibbing, Minnesota has been rained-out and will not be rescheduled. The Wild West Tour will wrap up tomorrow evening at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

(July 13, 2016) Steve Casebolt and his #c9 team unloaded their Rocket Chassis tonight at Ogilvie Raceway in Ogilvie, Minnesota for another Wild West Tour battle with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series. Steve knocked down the eleventh quickest time overall during the qualifying session prior to finishing second in heat race action. After drawing the inside of the third row before the start of the $10,000 to win headliner, the Richmond, Indiana hotshoe muscled past two cars during the 50-lapper on his way to a stellar third place podium performance behind only victor Josh Richards and runner-up Shane Clanton!

(July 9, 2016) The Wild West Tour continued for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series tonight at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota, as the annual running of the 'NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50' boasted an $11,000 payday. Steve Casebolt placed fifth in his heat race and fourth in his B-Main, which were unfortunately one spot out of a coveted transfer position. After taking use of a series provisional to gain access into the 50-lap 'Gopher 50,' Steve blasted past fourteen competitors during the action-packed race en route to a solid tenth place showing.

(July 8, 2016) Another WOOLMS showdown in Iowa greeted the cars and stars of the national touring series tonight at Mason City Motor Speedway in Mason City, Iowa. Steve Casebolt finished eighth in his heat race and third in the B-Main before rolling off from the inside of the eleventh row in the $10,000 to win main event. The Richmond, Indiana standout then motored past nine racecars during the caution-free 50-lap contest to bring home a respectable twelfth place effort.

(July 7, 2016) Action with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series heated back up tonight in the Hawkeye State, as Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, Iowa presided over an $8,000 to win program. Steve Casebolt posted the eighth quickest time during qualifying prior to grabbing the sixth and final transfer spot through his heat race. After starting the 40-lap feature from the inside of the ninth row, Steve was able to pick off four competitors on his way to a thirteenth place performance.

(July 3, 2016) With another World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series show succumbing to Mother Nature early in the day at Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, Illinois, Steve Casebolt and his #c9 team were able to beat Mother Nature tonight at Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series rolled into MCS and a $12,000 top prize was up for grabs. Steve set a New Track Record during the qualifying session, but unfortunately suffered a flat tire in his heat race. After storming to a second place finish in the B-Main, Steve worked his way past eleven racecars during the 60-lapper en route to a solid seventh place outing.

(July 2, 2016) Following an early rain-out at Federated Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri, the Tye Twarog Racing team bolted to the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana tonight for the unsanctioned 'Born Free 40.' Steve Casebolt timed in third quickest in his group during qualifying and later ran second in his heat race at the 1/4-mile oval. The Richmond, Indiana hotshoe then started the $5,000 to win A-Main from the inside of the third row and quickly moved up to third, which is where he finished on the podium behind only race winner Devin Gilpin and runner-up Michael Chilton!

(July 1, 2016) The #c9 team dropped into Fayette County Speedway in Brownstown, Illinois tonight for a UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals tilt, which paid $10,000 to the winner. Steve Casebolt qualified seventh fastest in Group A during time trials prior to finishing third in heat race action. After rolling off from the inside of the fifth row in the 50-lap headliner, Steve motored past a trio of competitors on his way to a strong sixth place showing behind only victor Josh Richards, Brian Shirley, Frank Heckenast, Jr., Billy Moyer, and Jason Feger.

(June 30, 2016) The dirt-covered Rockford Speedway near Rockford, Illinois played host to the inaugural 'Outlaw Clay Classic' tonight, which kicked off an ultra-busy stretch of racing for the Tye Twarog Racing team. The single-day World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series throwdown in the Land of Lincoln paid $10,000 to win and attracted a stout 34 car field. Steve Casebolt placed fourth in his loaded heat race and later started the 30-lapper from the outside of the seventh row. Steve then survived the rough-and-tumble main event to walk away from Rockford with a tenth place effort.

Busy Week with Outlaws in New York and Pennsylvania
(June 25, 2016)
A busy day greeted the #c9 team today at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, as a day/night doubleheader was held to wrap up the annual 'Firecracker 100' weekend. In the rain-postponed $6,000 to win prelim, Steve Casebolt ran fourth in his heat race and later started the 30-lap main event from the outside of the seventh row. At the checkers, Steve had moved up one spot to finish the race in the thirteenth position.

In the nightcap, a whopping $30,000 winner's check was up for grabs in the 'Firecracker 100.' Steve once again grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through his heat race, which earned him the rights to the outside of the eighth row for the start of the 100-lap grind. The Richmond, Indiana standout put forth a solid effort during the extra-distance affair and eventually claimed a thirteenth place showing.

(June 24, 2016) Following yesterday's rain-out at Lernerville Speedway, action finally got underway tonight at the Sarver, Pennsylvania facility, as a $6,000 top prize was on the line in a 'Firecracker 100' prelim. Steve Casebolt timed in sixteenth fastest in Group A during qualifying prior to finishing fifth in his heat race and second in his B-Main. After starting the 30-lapper from the outside of the eleventh row, Steve unfortunately slipped off the backstretch early in the race and eventually wound up twentieth in the final finishing order.

(June 23, 2016) Tonight's $6,000 to win 'Firecracker 100' weekend opener at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania was washed out due to heavy rainfall, but has been reset for Saturday afternoon. Friday's $6,000 to win preliminary program is still on as scheduled. Saturday's day/night doubleheader will then conclude with the 'Firecracker 100,' which once again boasts a $30,000 windfall for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series special.

(June 21, 2016) A busy week with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series kicked off tonight at Weedsport Speedway in Weedsport, New York, as an $8,000 payday was on the line in the 'Finger Lakes 40.' Steve Casebolt posted the sixteenth fastest lap overall during the qualifying session before advancing up to second in heat race action. After drawing the third starting position before the drop of the green flag in the 40-lapper, Steve hung around the front before slipping back to sixth in the caution-free affair behind only winner Josh Richards, Shane Clanton, Frank Heckenast, Jr., Brandon Overton, and Rick Eckert.

Steve Casebolt Fast Throughout Dream XXII Weekend at Eldora

Tye Twarog Racing made the trek to the hallowed grounds of Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on June 9-11 for the 22nd edition of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' Things got underway at the 1/2-mile, high-banked speedplant with a pair of Twin 25 preliminary programs. On Thursday night, Steve Casebolt ran second in his heat race and later led the first fourteen circuits of the $5,000 to win main event before unfortunately blowing a right rear tire, which unfortunately dropped him to twentieth in the final rundown. In the $10,000 to win show on Friday evening, Steve finished third in his heat race and thirteenth in the 25-lap sprint.

When Saturday rolled around at the "Big E," all eyes were fixated on the whopping $100,000 winner's check in 'Dream XXII.' Steve scored an impressive triumph in his heat race and later started the 100-lap headliner from the outside of the second row. The Richmond, Indiana standout ran amongst the leaders early in the extra-distance affair before eventually slipping back to sixteenth at the finish of the contest. Casebolt Spends Memorial Day Weekend at Moler & Tyler Co.

Steve Casebolt and Tye Twarog Racing invaded the states of Ohio and West Virginia over the hectic Memorial Day holiday weekend for a trio of World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series showdowns from May 27-29. On Friday night at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio, Steve finished eighth in his heat race and ninth in his consolation event. After receiving a series provisional to gain access into the $10,000 to win main event, Steve wound up twentieth in the final rundown of the 50-lap affair.

The dirt-slinging action then quickly shifted to Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, West Virginia for the annual running of the 'Jackpot 100.' On Saturday evening, Steve won his heat race prior to blasting past six competitors during the $8,000 to win feature on his way to a stellar runner-up effort behind only victor Josh Richards. The #c9 team trekked to Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio on May 13-14 for the inaugural running of the 'Buckeye Nationals.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series presided over the two-day extravaganza, which boasted a whopping $50,000 payday and drew a stellar field of 49 entrants. Steve Casebolt knocked down the eighth quickest lap in Group A during Friday's qualifying session and later ran fifth in his stacked heat race. After grabbing the second transfer spot through his B-Main on Saturday evening, Steve started the 75-lap headliner from the inside of the eleventh row. The Richmond, Indiana standout was then unfortunately an early retiree in the 'Buckeye Nationals' and wound up placed eighteenth in the final finishing order. Tye Twarog Racing followed the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series trail to Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky and Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee over the May 6-7 weekend for a pair of $10,000 to win programs. On Friday night at Ponderosa, Steve Casebolt ran eighth in his heat race and fifth in his B-Main prior to taking a series provisional and finishing sixteenth in the 50-lap headliner. At Smoky Mountain on Saturday evening, Steve wound up seventh in his heat race, sixth in his B-Main, and nineteenth in the caution-free 'Mountain Outlaw 50.' Steve Casebolt Eleventh in Pair of WOOLMS Tarheel State Stops
(May 1, 2016)
Steve Casebolt and the #c9 team ventured to the Tarheel State on April 29-30 for $10,000 to win World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series showdowns at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, North Carolina and Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville, North Carolina. On Friday night at Gastonia, Steve finished seventh in his heat race and ninth in his B-Main, which forced him to rely on a series provisional to gain access into the 50-lap headliner. Steve was then able to move up twelve positions during the rough and tumble A-Main and despite completing only 42 circuits, he was credited with a respectable eleventh place effort.

At Fayetteville on Saturday evening, another $10,000 top prize was on the line in front of a standing-room-only grandstand crowd. Steve placed seventh in his loaded heat race, but later won his consolation event to earn the nineteenth starting spot in the 50-lapper. The Richmond, Indiana standout then drove past eight competitors during the main event to wind up with another eleventh place showing. Casebolt Seventh at Moler; Advances to Podium Finish at "Big E"

The Tye Twarog Racing team and driver Steve Casebolt headed to the Buckeye State of Ohio on April 15-16 for a pair of Super Late Model special events. On Friday night at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio, the Ultimate Battle of the Bluegrass Series presided over a $3,000 to win shootout. Steve ran second in his heat race and later climbed up to fourth in the headliner before eventually slipping back to ultimately record a seventh place performance.

At the renowned Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on Saturday evening, the American Late Model Series (ALMS) rolled into town to sanction a $2,000 to win program. Steve clicked off the fastest lap in ALMS qualifying to earn Fast Time honors prior to finishing third in heat race action. After rolling off from the inside of the fourth row in the 25-lap sprint, the Richmond, Indiana star drove towards the front and was paid for a strong third place podium effort behind only race winner Duane Chamberlain and runner-up James Rice! Steve qualified fourteenth fastest in Group A during time trials prior to finishing sixth in his heat race and eighth in his B-Main. After receiving a series provisional to gain access into the 50-lap headliner, Steve was able to pick off seven competitors to claim a sixteenth place showing.

Casebolt Flexes Muscle During Illini 100 at Farmer City Raceway

World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series action heated back up for the #c9 team on April 2-3 at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois, as the annual running of the 'Illini 100' took place at the 1/4-mile fairgrounds bullring. On Saturday night in the $6,000 to win weekend opener, Steve Casebolt clicked off the fastest lap overall of the 48 entrants during qualifying prior to running second in his heat race. After starting seventh on the grid in the 25-lap main event, Steve was able to move up a couple of spots on his way to a strong fifth place performance behind only winner Josh Richards, Ryan Unzicker, Billy Moyer, Jr., and Brandon Overton!

At Farmer City on Sunday, the conclusion of the 'Illini 100' was on tap and a whopping $15,000 winner's check was on the line. Steve qualified tenth quickest in Group B during time trials and later grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through his loaded heat race. Steve Casebolt Knocked Out of $5k Florence Special by Flat Tire...

Steve Casebolt and Tye Twarog Racing continued their 2016 racing season on Saturday evening, March 26 at the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky, as the undersized 1/2-mile oval played host to a $5,000 to win, unsanctioned special. Steve knocked down the fourth quickest lap overall during the time trial session prior to running third in heat race action. After starting the 50-lap main event from the outside of the sixth row, Steve was knocking on the door to the top five until a flat left front tire took him out of contention on lap 23. The Richmond, Indiana standout was relegated to a disappointing twenty-first place showing at the Cincinnati-area speedplant. Casebolt Tackles Atomic Speedway for Buckeye Spring 50

The #c9 team traveled to Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio on Friday evening, March 18 for the 'Buckeye Spring 50.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series showdown at the Chillicothe area facility boasted a $10,000 payday and drew a stellar fifty car field. Steve Casebolt clicked off the fourteenth fastest lap in Group A during the qualifying session and later finished fourth in both his heat race and his B-Main. Unfortunately, those efforts were just shy of transferring Steve into the 50-lap main event, which was won by Jonathan Davenport. Saturday's scheduled stop to the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana was then nixed by Mother Nature, as the annual running of the 'Indiana Icebreaker' was postponed until April 9. Steve Casebolt Survives Rugged Spring 50 in Fourth Position

Steve Casebolt and the Tye Twarog Racing team returned to dirt-slinging action on Saturday evening, March 12 at the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky for the annual running of the 'Spring 50.' Steve won his heat race in preliminary competition and later started the 50-lap main event from the inside of the second row. On an ultra-rough racing surface during the $5,000 to win headliner, Steve unfortunately bounced up into the wall on the opening circuit, but was able to survive the 'Spring 50' to finish in the fourth position. The Richmond, Indiana standout trailed only winner Cody Mahoney, Jason Jameson, and Eddie Carrier, Jr. at the checkers.
