Casebolt Debuts New Rocket Car at Muskingum County Speedway
(July 26, 2015)
Steve Casebolt, of Richmond, Indiana, debuted a new Rocket racecar out of the Tye Twarog Racing stable on Saturday evening, July 25 at Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio. Steve knocked down the second fastest lap during qualifying and later scored the win in heat race action. After drawing the sixth starting spot prior to the beginning of the $2,000 to win feature event, Steve climbed all the way up to second in the running order before contact from behind from another competitor relegated him back to a third place effort.


Steve Casebolt Solid in Eldora's Mud Summer Classic Doubleheader

The #c9 team invaded the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on July 21-22 to compete in a pair of $2,000 to win Super Late Model programs, which were a part of the 'Mud Summer Classic.' On Tuesday evening, Steve Casebolt clicked off the fastest lap of the 27 entrants during qualifying prior to finishing third in his heat race and sixth in the 25-lap main event. At the "Big E" on Wednesday night, Steve ran second in heat race action and later placed fifth in the A-Main behind only victor Duane Chamberlain, Kent Robinson, Jeep Van Wormer, and Matt Westfall. Casebolt Competes in UMP Summer Nationals Finale at Oakshade

Steve Casebolt Racing ventured to Oakshade Raceway in Wauseon, Ohio on Saturday evening, July 11 for the finale of the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour. Steve Casebolt timed in fourth fastest in his group during the qualifying session prior to grabbing the fourth and final transfer spot through his heat race. The Richmond, Indiana star then started the $10,000 to win main event from the outside of the eighth row, but was unfortunately the first retiree in the 60-lap race and was relegated to a disappointing twenty-second place effort. Independence Day Holiday Weekend Results for Casebolt...
(July 4, 2015)
Following last night's washout, the #c9 team followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series south to Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio for tonight's 'Independence 50,' which paid $10,000 to the winner. Steve Casebolt clicked off the eleventh fastest lap in Group A during qualifying and later finished sixth in his loaded heat race and third in his B-Main. After starting the 50-lap headliner from the inside of the eleventh row, Steve unfortunately went for a wild flip in a lap two, multi car incident. While he escaped injury, the car was not so fortunate and the Richmond, Indiana ace was relegated to a very disappointing twenty-second place performance.

(July 3, 2015) The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series 'Creno's 50' scheduled for tonight at Muskingum County Speedway has been canceled. Following several hours of precipitation and multiple attempts to get the racing surface ready but to no avail, the decision was made to cancel the $10,000 to win event at the Zanesville, Ohio facility.

(July 2, 2015) Steve Casebolt Racing kicked off a busy Independence Day holiday weekend tonight at Hilltop Speedway in Millersburg, Ohio, as the unsanctioned 'King of the Hill' boasted a $5,000 winner's check. Steve Casebolt won his heat race in preliminary action and later drew the seventh starting spot prior to the drop of the green flag in the A-Main. The Richmond, Indiana ace then moved up three spots on the slick racing surface during the feature en route to a strong fourth place showing behind only victor Tyler Carpenter, Greg Oakes, and Corey Conley.


Hectic (and Soggy) Stretch of Racing Action for the #c9 Team...
(June 20, 2015)
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series triple shot wrapped up tonight at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee with the 'Ole Smoky Moonshine Classic,' which also featured a $10,000 top prize. Steve Casebolt posted the fifth fastest lap in Group A during time trials, but later slipped back to sixth in his stacked heat race. After grabbing the second transfer spot through his B-Main, Steve wound up nineteenth in the final finishing order of the 50-lap main event.

(June 19, 2015) Next up for the #c9 team was the annual running of the 'Grassy Smith Memorial' at the renowned Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series program tonight at Cherokee paid another $10,000 to the winner. Steve Casebolt knocked down the third quickest lap during time trials prior to scoring the win in his loaded heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the second row in the 50-lap main event, Steve ultimately slipped back to finish eighth at the checkers.

(June 18, 2015) With persistent rain in the forecast for the Buckeye State, the #c9 team bolted south to Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville, North Carolina today for tonight's Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series showdown, which boasted a $10,000 payday. Steve Casebolt clicked off the sixth fastest lap during the qualifying session, which enabled him to start the 50-lap feature from the outside of the third row. The Richmond, Indiana standout then moved up two spots in the A-Main to claim an impressive fourth place showing behind only winner Jonathan Davenport, Earl Pearson, Jr., and Steve Francis.

(June 17, 2015) The soggy start to the Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week continued tonight with yet another rain-out. The $3,000 to win throwdown at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio was washed out earlier this afternoon.

(June 16, 2015) Tonight's $3,000 to win Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week show scheduled for Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio has once again fallen victim to Mother Nature.

(June 14, 2015) The Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week was slated to take Steve Casebolt to Millstream Speedway in Findlay, Ohio tonight. However, inclement weather has washed out the $4,000 to win shootout.

(June 13, 2015) Steve Casebolt and his #c9 team beat Mother Nature tonight at Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio, as the Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week tour kicked off with the 'Don Gross Memorial,' which paid $4,000 to the winner. Steve won his heat race in preliminary action, but was plagued by a hard tire selection in the 40-lapper, which helped drop the Richmond, Indiana ace to an eighteenth place outing.

(June 12, 2015) After unsuccessful attempts to run in the Moler Raceway Park racing surface following tonight's rain showers, Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week action in Williamsburg, Ohio has been postponed until Tuesday, June 16. A strong field of competitors were in the pit area for the $3,000 to win mini-series opener.


Casebolt Runner-Up in Eldora Prelim; Transfers into DLM Dream!
(June 7, 2015)
The #c9 team descended upon the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from June 4-6 for 21st edition of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' The three-day crown jewel extravaganza once again kicked off with a pair of Twin 25 preliminary programs. On Thursday night at Eldora, Steve Casebolt finished ninth in his heat race and tenth in his B-Main, which unfortunately kept him out of the night's $2,500 to win feature event. At the "Big E" on Friday evening, Steve won his heat race, led laps 1-8 of the main event, and recorded an impressive runner-up showing in the $5,000 to win headliner to finish behind only victor Jonathan Davenport!

On Saturday in the Buckeye State, all eyes were fixated on the hefty $100,000 paycheck in the 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' Steve grabbed the third and final transfer spot through his loaded heat race, which earned him the rights to the outside of the eighth row for the start of the 100-lap grind. The Richmond, Indiana ace was then unfortunately an early retiree in the 'Dirt Late Model Dream' - eventually credited with a twenty-third place performance. Mechanical Woes Slow Steve Casebolt in Ralph Latham Memorial

Steve Casebolt and the #c9 team strolled into the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on Saturday evening, May 30 for the 29th edition of the 'Ralph Latham Memorial.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series once again presided over the single-day throwdown, which was headlined by a $10,000 to win feature event. Steve posted the thirteenth fastest lap in Group A during the qualifying session prior to claiming the fourth and final transfer spot through his heat race. The Richmond, Indiana ace then started the 50-lapper from the inside of the seventh row, but a broken bolt in the j-bar caused him to draw a caution on lap 32. Memorial Day Holiday Weekend Nightly Results...

The annual 'Jackpot 100' wrapped up tonight at Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, West Virginia and a $10,000 top prize was on the line in the WOOLMS showdown. Steve Casebolt posted the fourteenth fastest lap in Group A during qualifying and later finished sixth in his loaded heat race. After grabbing the third and final transfer spot through his B-Main, Steve steadily marched forward in the 60-lap headliner on his way to a fourteenth place performance.

(May 23, 2015) Next up for the #c9 team was night one of the annual 'Jackpot 100' at Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, West Virginia tonight, as the World of Outlaws Late Model Series presided over an $8,000 to win program. Steve Casebolt knocked down the fourth quickest lap in Group A during time trials and later ran second in his heat race. After drawing the fourth starting spot prior to the drop of the green flag in the 40-lapper, Steve wound up placing seventh in the final finishing order tonight at Tyler County.

(May 22, 2015) Steve Casebolt Racing kicked off their huge Memorial Day holiday weekend tonight with a rare trip to Bedford Speedway in Bedford, Pennsylvania for the unsanctioned 'Johnny Grum Tribute' race. Steve Casebolt ran second in heat race action and later led laps 7-27 of the $4,000 to win feature event. At the end of the 40-lap affair, Steve found himself in the second spot to finish a strong runner-up behind only winner Gregg Satterlee!


Casebolt Lands on Podium in Buckeye 25 at Southern Ohio Speedway!

Steve Casebolt and his #c9 team headed south to Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg, Ohio on Friday evening, May 15 for the unsanctioned 'Buckeye 25.' Steve knocked down the third quickest lap during the qualifying session, but later missed the dash after suffering carburetor issues. After rolling off from the outside of the third row in the $3,000 to win main event, Steve survived an early incident and brought his Club 29 machine home in the third spot behind only winner R.J. Steve Casebolt Racing Finds No Luck at Ponderosa and Atomic...
(May 10, 2015)
Steve Casebolt Racing stormed into Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky and Atomic Speedway near Chillicothe, Ohio over the May 8-9 weekend. On Friday night at "The Pond," the World of Outlaws Late Model Series presided over a $10,000 to win shootout. Steve Casebolt qualified thirteenth fastest in Group A during time trials, but did not make the call for his heat race. After returning to the track in his B-Main to finish sixth, Steve was unfortunately forced to watch the 50-lap headliner from the stands.

At Atomic on Saturday evening, the unsanctioned 'Bob Crace, Sr. Memorial' was on tap and a $3,023 payday was on the line. Steve qualified well and later finished fourth in the dash to earn the outside second row starting spot in the 30-lap main event. Unfortunately, the Richmond, Indiana star was involved in an early incident and retired with damage in the twentieth position. Steve Casebolt Sixth at Friendship; Fourth in Trip to Fayetteville!

Steve Casebolt and his #c9 team ventured to the Tarheel State of North Carolina on May 1-2 for a pair of $10,000 to win World of Outlaws Late Model Series battles. On Friday night at Friendship Motor Speedway in Elkin, Steve won his heat race in preliminary action and later placed sixth in the 50-lap headliner behind only race winner Chris Ferguson, Josh Richards, Frank Heckenast, Jr., Eric Wells, and Shane Clanton. At Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville on Saturday evening, Steve ran third in his loaded heat race prior to picking off three competitors during the 50-lapper. At the conclusion of the Fayetteville special, the Richmond, Indiana star found himself fourth in the final rundown behind only victor Chris Ferguson, Brandon Overton, and Darrell Lanigan. Casebolt Reaches Victory Lane in ALMS Showdown at Attica!

Steve Casebolt Racing celebrated in victory lane for the second time in 2015 on Friday night, April 17 at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio! Steve Casebolt won his heat race from the eighth starting spot and later rolled off from the outside of the front row in the 30-lap American Late Model Series (ALMS) feature event. The Richmond, Indiana standout then led from flag-to-flag in the headliner to bag the $2,000 winner's check ahead of Doug Drown, Matt Irey, Ryan Missler, and Ryan Markham!

On Saturday evening, April 18, the ALMS tour took the #c9 team to the famed highbanks of Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio for a $5,000 to win battle. Steve clicked off the fastest lap of the 30 entrants during the qualifying session to earn Fast Time honors and later placed third in heat race action. After starting the 25-lap sprint from the outside of the fifth row and later pitting to get a new left rear tire, Steve charged through the field to garner what appeared to be a solid fifth place effort. Unfortunately, fuel pressure issues throughout the race also led him to burn more fuel than normal, which caused him to come up six pounds light at the scales and relegated him to a disappointing twenty-second place performance. Steve Casebolt Solid in Thaw Brawl Weekend at LaSalle Speedway

Steve Casebolt and his #c9 team headed west to LaSalle Speedway in LaSalle, Illinois on April 3-4 for the annual running of the 'Thaw Brawl,' which was sanctioned by the American Late Model Series. On Friday night, Steve ran sixth in his heat race, third in his B-Main, and eleventh in the 50-lap headliner, which paid $5,000 to the winner. In Saturday's finale at the 1/4-mile bullring, Steve finished third in heat race action and later started the $15,000 to win main event from the outside of the sixth row. The Richmond, Indiana standout was able to move past three competitors during the 75-lapper en route to a solid ninth place showing. Casebolt Enters Lucas Oil Series Weekend in Ohio and Indiana

Steve Casebolt Racing invaded Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio and Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana over the March 20-21 weekend for a pair of $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series battles. On Friday night in the 'Buckeye Spring 50,' Steve Casebolt ran third in his heat race, but a broken driveshaft in the 50-lapper relegated the Richmond, Indiana ace to a disappointing twenty-fourth place effort. In the 18th Annual 'Indiana Icebreaker' at Brownstown on Saturday evening, Steve once again finished third in heat race action, which lined him up starting from the outside of the fifth row in the 50-lap headliner. Bubba Army Winter Nationals Nightly Results from Ocala...

The finale of the 'Bubba Army Winter Nationals' took place earlier tonight at Bubba Raceway Park and another $10,000 top prize was up for grabs in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series showdown at the Ocala, Florida facility. Steve Casebolt logged the fifteenth quickest time during qualifying before advancing all the way up to second in his heat race. After drawing the pole position prior to the 50-lap headliner, Steve ran towards the front the entire distance before knocking down a fourth place finish behind only victor Josh Richards, Shane Clanton, and Tim McCreadie!

(February 14, 2015) Night two of the 'Bubba Army Winter Nationals' was held tonight at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series extravaganza paid $10,000 to the winner. Steve Casebolt laid down the twelfth fastest lap during time trials prior to grabbing the fourth transfer position through his loaded heat race. The Richmond, Indiana standout then battled hard for a top ten finish in the 50-lap headliner before settling for an eleventh place performance.

(February 13, 2015) The Dirt Late Model portion of the 'Bubba Army Winter Nationals' kicked off tonight at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida with a UMP DIRTcar Series-sanctioned showdown, which boasted a $5,000 payday. Steve Casebolt timed in sixth quickest during the qualifying session and later recorded the fourth transfer spot through his heat race. After starting the 30-lapper from the outside of the sixth row, Steve unfortunately retired from the caution-free affair after only thirteen circuits and was placed twentieth in the final rundown.


Steve Casebolt Continues Strong Start at East Bay Raceway Park!

Steve Casebolt and the #c9 team returned to dirt-slinging action tonight at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series presided over a $7,000 to win program tonight at the "Clay by the Bay." Steve posted the third fastest lap in Group B during the qualifying session, but later slipped back to fourth in his loaded heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the seventh row in the 45-lap feature event, Steve worked his way past ten competitors at the Tampa-area venue to score an impressive fourth place effort behind only victor Billy Moyer, Mike Benedum, and Brandon Sheppard!


Casebolt Drops into North Florida Speedway and Nabs Top Ten
(February 8, 2015) Following the completion of the 'Winter Freeze V,' the #c9 team opted to drop into North Florida Speedway in Lake City, Florida tonight for a special Sunday showdown, which was sanctioned by the UMP DIRTcar Series. Steve Casebolt qualified twelfth fastest during the time trial session and later placed sixth in his loaded heat race. After starting the $5,000 to win feature event from the outside of the sixth row, Steve was able to drive his Club 29 entry past four competitors on his way to an eighth place showing in the 30-lapper.


Winter Freeze Nightly Results from Screven Motor Speedway...
(February 7, 2015) The 'Winter Freeze V' weekend came to a close tonight at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia, as the second event of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series schedule boasted another $10,000 winner's check. Fresh off his big win last night, Steve Casebolt clicked off the second quickest lap in Group A during time trials and later scored an impressive heat race triumph. After leading laps 1-4 and 11-49 from the outside of the front row, Steve was passed on the last lap by eventual winner Shane Clanton and the Richmond, Indiana star settled for an impressive runner-up performance!

(February 6, 2015) Steve Casebolt, of Richmond, Indiana, scored his first-ever World of Outlaws Late Model Series triumph tonight at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia! Steve posted the second fastest lap in Group B during the time trial session and later placed second in his loaded heat race. After drawing the outside of the front row prior to the drop of the green flag in the 50-lap main event, Steve hounded race leader Brandon Overton and eventually nabbed the point on lap 44. Steve Casebolt knocked down the sixth fastest lap in his group during the qualifying session and later grabbed the fourth transfer spot through his B-Main. After rolling off from the inside of the ninth row in the 40-lap feature event, Steve blasted past eleven competitors during the headliner en route to a strong sixth place showing. The Richmond, Indiana ace trailed only winner Josh Richards, Frank Heckenast, Jr. Casey Roberts, Morgan Bagley, and Brandon Overton.
