Casebolt Enters Lucas Oil Series Weekend in Ohio and Indiana

Steve Casebolt Racing invaded Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio and Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana over the March 20-21 weekend for a pair of $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series battles. On Friday night in the 'Buckeye Spring 50,' Steve Casebolt ran third in his heat race, but a broken driveshaft in the 50-lapper relegated the Richmond, Indiana ace to a disappointing twenty-fourth place effort. In the 18th Annual 'Indiana Icebreaker' at Brownstown on Saturday evening, Steve once again finished third in heat race action, which lined him up starting from the outside of the fifth row in the 50-lap headliner. On the one-groove racing surface, Steve managed to place ninth in the final rundown of the 'Indiana Icebreaker.' Full results can be viewed online at www.lucasdirt.com.


Bubba Army Winter Nationals Nightly Results from Ocala...

The finale of the 'Bubba Army Winter Nationals' took place earlier tonight at Bubba Raceway Park and another $10,000 top prize was up for grabs in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series showdown at the Ocala, Florida facility. Steve Casebolt logged the fifteenth quickest time during qualifying before advancing all the way up to second in his heat race. After drawing the pole position prior to the 50-lap headliner, Steve ran towards the front the entire distance before knocking down a fourth place finish behind only victor Josh Richards, Shane Clanton, and Tim McCreadie!

(February 14, 2015) Night two of the 'Bubba Army Winter Nationals' was held tonight at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series extravaganza paid $10,000 to the winner. Steve Casebolt laid down the twelfth fastest lap during time trials prior to grabbing the fourth transfer position through his loaded heat race. The Richmond, Indiana standout then battled hard for a top ten finish in the 50-lap headliner before settling for an eleventh place performance.

(February 13, 2015) The Dirt Late Model portion of the 'Bubba Army Winter Nationals' kicked off tonight at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida with a UMP DIRTcar Series-sanctioned showdown, which boasted a $5,000 payday. Steve Casebolt timed in sixth quickest during the qualifying session and later recorded the fourth transfer spot through his heat race. After starting the 30-lapper from the outside of the sixth row, Steve unfortunately retired from the caution-free affair after only thirteen circuits and was placed twentieth in the final rundown.


Steve Casebolt Continues Strong Start at East Bay Raceway Park!

Steve Casebolt and the #c9 team returned to dirt-slinging action tonight at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series presided over a $7,000 to win program tonight at the "Clay by the Bay." Steve posted the third fastest lap in Group B during the qualifying session, but later slipped back to fourth in his loaded heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the seventh row in the 45-lap feature event, Steve worked his way past ten competitors at the Tampa-area venue to score an impressive fourth place effort behind only victor Billy Moyer, Mike Benedum, and Brandon Sheppard!


Casebolt Drops into North Florida Speedway and Nabs Top Ten
(February 8, 2015) Following the completion of the 'Winter Freeze V,' the #c9 team opted to drop into North Florida Speedway in Lake City, Florida tonight for a special Sunday showdown, which was sanctioned by the UMP DIRTcar Series. Steve Casebolt qualified twelfth fastest during the time trial session and later placed sixth in his loaded heat race. After starting the $5,000 to win feature event from the outside of the sixth row, Steve was able to drive his Club 29 entry past four competitors on his way to an eighth place showing in the 30-lapper.


Winter Freeze Nightly Results from Screven Motor Speedway...
(February 7, 2015) The 'Winter Freeze V' weekend came to a close tonight at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia, as the second event of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series schedule boasted another $10,000 winner's check. Fresh off his big win last night, Steve Casebolt clicked off the second quickest lap in Group A during time trials and later scored an impressive heat race triumph. After leading laps 1-4 and 11-49 from the outside of the front row, Steve was passed on the last lap by eventual winner Shane Clanton and the Richmond, Indiana star settled for an impressive runner-up performance!

(February 6, 2015) Steve Casebolt, of Richmond, Indiana, scored his first-ever World of Outlaws Late Model Series triumph tonight at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia! Steve posted the second fastest lap in Group B during the time trial session and later placed second in his loaded heat race. After drawing the outside of the front row prior to the drop of the green flag in the 50-lap main event, Steve hounded race leader Brandon Overton and eventually nabbed the point on lap 44. He then led the remainder of the distance to bag the $10,000 top prize over Overton, Billy Moyer, Josh Richards, and Shane Clanton!!! (ZSK Photography)

(February 5, 2015) The annual running of the 'Winter Freeze' started tonight at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia with an unsanctioned Super Late Model special, which boasted a $5,000 payday. Steve Casebolt knocked down the sixth fastest lap in his group during the qualifying session and later grabbed the fourth transfer spot through his B-Main. After rolling off from the inside of the ninth row in the 40-lap feature event, Steve blasted past eleven competitors during the headliner en route to a strong sixth place showing. The Richmond, Indiana ace trailed only winner Josh Richards, Frank Heckenast, Jr. Casey Roberts, Morgan Bagley, and Brandon Overton.


Steve Casebolt Racing Announces Partnership with Tye Twarog!!!
(December 11, 2014)
Steve Casebolt announced today at the Performance Racing Industry show in Indianapolis, Indiana that he has formed a partnership with Tye Twarog for the upcoming 2015 racing season! Tye's family has been in the racing industry for over 50 years and has fielded cars for Shane McLoughlin and Doug Dodd recently. Steve and Tye will combine their resources in 2015 and the Richmond, Indiana driver will pilot a #c9 Club 29 racecar powered by a Cornett engine. Sponsorship will come from Preferred Sandblasting and owner Bob Harris, Sudz Car Wash, Lias Tire by Tye Twarog, Riesbeck's Food Markets, and VP Race Fuels.

Steve tentatively plans to open up his 2015 campaign in a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series doubleheader on March 20-21 at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio and Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana, but could race sooner than that if his equipment is ready in time. Once the season starts, the newly-formed team will enter all of the high-profile national and regional shows across the Mid-Ohio valley - mainly within a five hour radius from Columbus, Ohio.
