Casebolt Competes in Inaugural Buckeye Nationals
15, 2016) The #c9 team trekked to Atomic Speedway in Alma,
Ohio on May 13-14 for the inaugural running of the 'Buckeye Nationals.'
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series presided over the two-day extravaganza,
which boasted a whopping $50,000 payday and drew a stellar field
of 49 entrants. Steve Casebolt knocked down the eighth quickest
lap in Group A during Friday's qualifying session and later ran
fifth in his stacked heat race. After grabbing the second transfer
spot through his B-Main on Saturday evening, Steve started the 75-lap
headliner from the inside of the eleventh row. The Richmond, Indiana
standout was then unfortunately an early retiree in the 'Buckeye
Nationals' and wound up placed eighteenth in the final finishing

Tour to Ponderosa & Smoky Mtn
8, 2016) Tye Twarog Racing followed the World of Outlaws
Craftsman Late Model Series trail to Ponderosa Speedway in Junction
City, Kentucky and Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee
over the May 6-7 weekend for a pair of $10,000 to win programs.
On Friday night at Ponderosa, Steve Casebolt ran eighth in his heat
race and fifth in his B-Main prior to taking a series provisional
and finishing sixteenth in the 50-lap headliner. At Smoky Mountain
on Saturday evening, Steve wound up seventh in his heat race, sixth
in his B-Main, and nineteenth in the caution-free 'Mountain Outlaw
50.' The Richmond, Indiana ace now sits seventh in the latest version

Steve Casebolt Eleventh
in Pair of WOOLMS Tarheel State Stops
1, 2016) Steve Casebolt and the #c9 team ventured to the
Tarheel State on April 29-30 for $10,000 to win World of Outlaws
Craftsman Late Model Series showdowns at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia,
North Carolina and Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville,
North Carolina. On Friday night at Gastonia, Steve finished seventh
in his heat race and ninth in his B-Main, which forced him to rely
on a series provisional to gain access into the 50-lap headliner.
Steve was then able to move up twelve positions during the rough
and tumble A-Main and despite completing only 42 circuits, he was
credited with a respectable eleventh place effort.
At Fayetteville on Saturday evening, another $10,000 top prize
was on the line in front of a standing-room-only grandstand crowd.
Steve placed seventh in his loaded heat race, but later won his
consolation event to earn the nineteenth starting spot in the 50-lapper.
The Richmond, Indiana standout then drove past eight competitors
during the main event to wind up with another eleventh place showing.
Steve now finds himself sixth in the latest version of the WOOLMS

Casebolt Seventh at Moler;
Advances to Podium Finish at "Big E"
(April 17, 2016) The Tye Twarog Racing team and
driver Steve Casebolt headed to the Buckeye State of Ohio on April
15-16 for a pair of Super Late Model special events. On Friday night
at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio, the Ultimate Battle
of the Bluegrass Series presided over a $3,000 to win shootout.
Steve ran second in his heat race and later climbed up to fourth
in the headliner before eventually slipping back to ultimately record
a seventh place performance.
At the renowned Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on Saturday evening,
the American Late Model Series (ALMS) rolled into town to sanction
a $2,000 to win program. Steve clicked off the fastest lap in ALMS
qualifying to earn Fast Time honors prior to finishing third in
heat race action. After rolling off from the inside of the fourth
row in the 25-lap sprint, the Richmond, Indiana star drove towards
the front and was paid for a strong third place podium effort behind
only race winner Duane Chamberlain and runner-up James Rice! Full

in WOOLMS Points After Duck River
10, 2016) Steve Casebolt and his #c9 team followed the
World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series trail to the Volunteer
State of Tennessee on Friday, April 8, as Duck River Raceway Park
in Wheel, Tennessee played host to a $10,000 to win showdown. Steve
qualified fourteenth fastest in Group A during time trials prior
to finishing sixth in his heat race and eighth in his B-Main. After
receiving a series provisional to gain access into the 50-lap headliner,
Steve was able to pick off seven competitors to claim a sixteenth
Saturday's scheduled WOOLMS stop at Tazewell (TN) Speedway was
then canceled due to inclement weather. The Richmond, Indiana ace
now sits seventh in the latest national point standings exiting

Casebolt Flexes Muscle
During Illini 100 at Farmer City Raceway
4, 2016) World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series action
heated back up for the #c9 team on April 2-3 at Farmer City Raceway
in Farmer City, Illinois, as the annual running of the 'Illini 100'
took place at the 1/4-mile fairgrounds bullring. On Saturday night
in the $6,000 to win weekend opener, Steve Casebolt clicked off
the fastest lap overall of the 48 entrants during qualifying prior
to running second in his heat race. After starting seventh on the
grid in the 25-lap main event, Steve was able to move up a couple
of spots on his way to a strong fifth place performance behind only
winner Josh Richards, Ryan Unzicker, Billy Moyer, Jr., and Brandon
At Farmer City on Sunday, the conclusion of the 'Illini 100' was
on tap and a whopping $15,000 winner's check was on the line. Steve
qualified tenth quickest in Group B during time trials and later
grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through his loaded heat
race. The Richmond, Indiana ace then rolled off from the outside
of the eighth row in the 75-lap headliner before driving past six
competitors en route to a steady tenth place effort. Steve has now
moved up to eighth in the latest edition of the WOOLMS point standings.

Steve Casebolt Knocked
Out of $5k Florence Special by Flat Tire...
27, 2016) Steve Casebolt and Tye Twarog Racing continued
their 2016 racing season on Saturday evening, March 26 at the venerable
Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky, as the undersized 1/2-mile
oval played host to a $5,000 to win, unsanctioned special. Steve
knocked down the fourth quickest lap overall during the time trial
session prior to running third in heat race action. After starting
the 50-lap main event from the outside of the sixth row, Steve was
knocking on the door to the top five until a flat left front tire
took him out of contention on lap 23. The Richmond, Indiana standout
was relegated to a disappointing twenty-first place showing at the

Casebolt Tackles Atomic
Speedway for Buckeye Spring 50
20, 2016) The #c9 team traveled to Atomic Speedway in Alma,
Ohio on Friday evening, March 18 for the 'Buckeye Spring 50.' The
Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series showdown at the Chillicothe area
facility boasted a $10,000 payday and drew a stellar fifty car field.
Steve Casebolt clicked off the fourteenth fastest lap in Group A
during the qualifying session and later finished fourth in both
his heat race and his B-Main. Unfortunately, those efforts were
just shy of transferring Steve into the 50-lap main event, which
was won by Jonathan Davenport. Saturday's scheduled stop to the
legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana was then nixed
by Mother Nature, as the annual running of the 'Indiana Icebreaker'

Steve Casebolt Survives
Rugged Spring 50 in Fourth Position
13, 2016) Steve Casebolt and the Tye Twarog Racing team
returned to dirt-slinging action on Saturday evening, March 12 at
the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky for the annual
running of the 'Spring 50.' Steve won his heat race in preliminary
competition and later started the 50-lap main event from the inside
of the second row. On an ultra-rough racing surface during the $5,000
to win headliner, Steve unfortunately bounced up into the wall on
the opening circuit, but was able to survive the 'Spring 50' to
finish in the fourth position. The Richmond, Indiana standout trailed
only winner Cody Mahoney, Jason Jameson, and Eddie Carrier, Jr.
