Steve Casebolt To Compete In New Zealand USA Super Saloons International Features

RICHMOND, IN (December 26, 2006) - Steve Casebolt has been invited again to race in New Zealand to represent Team USA in the Super Saloons International Feature events. Steve competed in the 2005 version of the special event in the country of New Zealand and will again represent Team USA along with Duane Chamberlain for the 2006 special events.

“I'm really excited about getting to spend some time in New Zealand. I thought going over there last year was a once in a lifetime opportunity so it’s really awesome to get the invite back. Last year I learned a lot about the culture in New Zealand and also quite a bit about the racing over there. Getting to know all of the people at the track and just getting the chance to go to such a beautiful country was really cool. I can't wait to get back behind the wheel of that super saloon car again”, stated Steve.

Steve won the 2006 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Rookie of the Year title finished 6th in the series final points standings. After returning from New Zealand Steve will be preparing for the 2007 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Winternationals events at East Bay Raceway February 5-10th. Steve will be piloting the Dale Beitler owned Rocket Chassis’s for the 2007 season and will have veteran crew chief Robbie Allen wrenching his machines in 2007. Steve and Dale Beitler plan to run the entire Lucas Oil late Model Dirt Series and various other late model events in 2007.
