Zealand. I thought going over there last year was a once in
a lifetime opportunity so it’s really awesome to get the
invite back. Last year I learned a lot about the culture in
New Zealand and also quite a bit about the racing over
there. Getting to know all of the people at the track and
just getting the chance to go to such a beautiful country
was really cool. I can't wait to get back behind the wheel
of that super saloon car again”, stated Steve.
Steve won the 2006 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Rookie
of the Year title finished 6th in the series final points
standings. After returning from New Zealand Steve will be
preparing for the 2007 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
Winternationals events at East Bay Raceway February 5-10th.
Steve will be piloting the Dale Beitler owned Rocket
Chassis’s for the 2007 season and will have veteran crew
