Steve Casebolt Sets Fast Time at Pittsburgher 100, Heads to Winchester Speedway This Weekend

RICHMOND, IN (September 27, 2006) - Steve Casebolt driving the Dale Beitler Enterprises, Reliable Painting, Sunoco Race Fuels, Cornett Race Engines, Rocket Chassis competed in the World of Outlaws Late Model sanctioned “Pittsburgher 100” at Pittsburgh Motor Speedway over the weekend. Steve would surprise the World of Outlaw Late Model series regulars and set fast time among the 54 cars entered in the event. By winning the fast time award Steve would start from the pole position of the first heat race. Steve driving the #19 Dale Beitler owned Rocket Chassis would fall into third place at the start of the heat race with the outside rows gaining the advantage with momentum on the high side of the track. Steve would finish third in the first heat race to earn a solid 9th starting position for the 100-lap feature event that pays $18,000 to win.

Unfortunately with the threat of rain and a forecast of thunderstorms on Saturday, track officials postponed the event and rescheduled the remaining portion of the event including the 100-lap feature for Sunday October 8th. “We had a really good car and I was very thrilled to set fast time among these WoO racers. It was a better advantage to start on the outside in the heat races because the track had so much momentum up there. I got into third place and had a decent car just got beat on track position. But were glad to be in the show and starting 9th. We will be excited about coming back and possibly be in contention to win that deal if the track is racy”, stated Steve.

Steve Casebolt and Dale Beitler Enterprises will head to Winchester Motor Speedway in Winchester Virginia this weekend and compete in the Winchester 200 paying $10,000 to the winner. The event will take place on Friday September 29th with qualifying and heat races and then on Saturday the 30th the consi’s and feature event will be completed.
