Casebolt Racing Hires New Crew Chief for 2008 Season

RICHMOND, IN (October 25, 2007) – Today Steve Casebolt racing hired veteran crew member Chris Burton to help Steve with his efforts on the 2008 Lucas Oil tour.  “Chris should be a great addition to our team”, stated Steve, “I have known Chris for a long time and actually tried to hire him before but couldn’t make it come together”.  Steve feels that the additional help will be the key ingredient to making his 2008 campaign a successful one.  “One thing that we have always been lacking on my own personal team is experienced crew help, we’ve always had good help but we’ve always been lacking experience”, said Steve.  Chris has worked for successful drivers such as Donnie Moran, Earl Pearson and Steve Francis.

Steve ended his highly successful 2007 season this past weekend at KC Raceway in Alma, OH with a disappointing outing.  The team struggled through qualifying with fuel pressure problems and was never a factor after having to start last in their heat race and B-main.  “We were very disappointed with our performance last weekend considering what might have been possible”. “This wasn’t the way that we wanted to end our season, but we have all winter to prepare and to build this team up to where it needs to be”.  Steve has opted not to race any more until Florida Speedweeks in an effort to be fully prepared when the time comes.

Casebolt racing is currently lacking major sponsorship.  Steve is actively seeking additional product sponsorship and major sponsorship to help him along the way in 2008.

Steve Casebolt would like to thank his sponsors for their support in the 2007 season:  Cornett Lightning, Rocket Chassis, American Racer, Arizona Sports Shirts, Sunoco Race Fuels, DH Competition Decals, Allstar Performance, American Racer Tires, Bazell Oil, Bell, Cruise of the Champions, Design 500, Dyers Top Rods, Hawk Brakes, Hyperco, Integra Racing Shocks, Lucas Oil, Mason Racin, Peterson Fluid Systems, Rick Schwallie Photography, Scott Performance Wire, WD Enterprises, Wilwood, and Woodward Power Steering.
