Steve Casebolt takes 44th annual
Winchester 200
RICHMOND,
IN (October 3, 2007) – Steve Casebolt and the Beitler Enterprises team competed at
Winchester Speedway in Winchester, VA this past weekend.
The team left their mark on the 44th
annual Winchester 200 in fine style by leading the last 46
laps and collecting the $10,000 payday.
The weekend started by setting 2nd fast time in
the competitive 62 car field.
Steve then drove the car to a 2nd place
finish in his Friday night qualifying heat race.
Saturday night proved to be the icing on the cake
as the Steve advanced from his 8th starting
spot in the feature to the convincing win. This was Steve’s 5th win of the season in the
Beitler Enterprises number 19.
In victory lane Steve took pictures with the Beitler crew and
family as all 3 of Beitler’s daughters were in
attendance. “I
had a lot of fun out there tonight, it’s been a tough 2nd
half of the season for us so this is a great boost”,
stated Steve from victory lane.
“This win was also a special win for us and
American Racer Tires since it was an open tire rule event.
We normally compete with the Lucas Oil Series who has a
limited compound selection”, said Steve.
Steve and the Beitler Enterprises team will be in action this
coming weekend on Friday and Saturday nights at The Rock
Speedway in Cumberland, Maryland.
