Steve Casebolt Leads
Lucas Oil Series Points, Heads to North Carolina and
Virginia This weekend

RICHMOND,
IN (June
19, 2007) - Steve Casebolt and the Beitler
Enterprises Team competed in three Lucas Oil Late Model
Dirt Series sanctioned events this past weekend and
claimed three top ten finishes and took over the lead in
the series national points standings for the first time.
The 2006 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series rookie of the
year is trying to become the first driver to win the
rookie title and the series championship in consecutive
years on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
Steve and the team competed
on Thursday Night, June 14th at the Duck River Speedway in
Wheel TN for a $7,000 to win feature event. Steve was able
to post his first of three top ten finishes with a 7th
place finish. The next night Steve competed at the North
Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, GA in another Lucas Oil
Series event that paid $7,000 to win. Steve finished 8th
at the North Georgia Speedway feature event. Steve will
conclude the weekend at Talladega Short Track in
Talladega, AL for a $10,000 to win event on Saturday and
recorded a 9th place finish and his third top ten finish
on the series over the weekend. Steve now leads the Lucas
Oil Late Model Dirt Series national point's standings by
40 points over Scott James.
"We had a decent
weekend and finished all three events in the top ten which
is tough with the level of competition at any Lucas Oil
Series event this year. It feels good to be leading the
point's standings but there is still a lot of racing
left", stated Steve. The Beitler Enterprises Racing
Team will travel to Fayetteville NC and Saluda VA for a
pair of $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
sanctioned events this Friday and Saturday.
